Our process:

Step 1:

Initial Price Quote

 To ensure we align with your expectations and budget, we always begin with a remote assessment.

  1. Please email pictures of your windows along with rough measurements to contact@vanlinnen.nl

  2. Need help measuring? We are happy to jump on a phone call, video call, or guide you directly via WhatsApp.

  3. We will provide an initial, estimated project scope and price quote.

  4. Orde samples here 
    samples fee will be refunded from the project price. 

Step 2:

Booking Your Home visit
Once you have reviewed and approved your estimated quote, pre-selected the fabrics, you can book an in-home appointment with us. 

Home Visit: We work by home appointment. We bring larger fabric samples directly to your house to review them against your interior lighting and decor once again, while taking final measurements.

Alternative: Concept Gallery Amsterdam visit.  If your home is still under construction or you are unable to meet at home, you can book an appointment at our partner location.

Note: Please book in advance. We operate strictly by appointment, and there is no walk-in service. Weekend is closed.

Step 3:

Finalizing Specs & Production
  1. After-site visit, we will finalize fabric selection, colors, and styles, and take precise measurements.
  2. We will update your initial estimated Quote to a final, binding invoice based on your exact selections.
  3. Production requires a 1-month lead time, which begins immediately after a 50% deposit of the invoice is paid. 

Step 4:

Full-Service Installation & Final Payment
Our full service is completely stress free for you and includes:
  1. Producing custom made curtains and delivering curtains, rails, electric rails, or Roman blinds.
  2. Complete installation of rails handled by a professional handyman (including scaffolding for high windows).
  3. Professional curtain steaming and hanging.
  4. Final Payment: The remaining 50% balance is due on the day of installation. 


    Home Measurement Fees

We charge a travel and consultation fee for home visits based on your distance.

  1. Amsterdam, Den Haag, Leiden, and surroundings (within 10 km): Free measurements!
  2. Beyond 10 km from Amsterdam (e.g., Bussum, Almere, Zaandam, Naarden, Weesp, Haarlem): €70 fee.
  3. Utrecht, Rotterdam, Maastricht, and surroundings (within 10 km): €110 fee.
  4. Arnhem, Zwolle, Groningen, Breda, Eindhoven area: €250 fee.
  5. Other Locations: Please contact us for custom pricing based on your location
